Zoho Inventory Update April 2023

Lets ‘Spring’ into April with the latest updates from Zoho Inventory. Here are new the latest Zoho Inventory features that are brightening our days in our Zoho Inventory update, April 2023.

New dashboard for Bills

Take advantage of the newly added dashboard section in the Bills module to get a quick summary of all your outstanding bills, including the amount due today, the amount due in the next 30 days, and your overdue amount. By using this feature, you can make well-informed business decisions in a timely and efficient manner.

Enhancements to Shipments

As part of Zoho’s latest update, the list view of Shipments now includes sub-statuses. This means that you can easily filter transactions with a specific sub-status using the newly added filter. Additionally, the Advanced Search feature now allows you to filter transactions by sub-statuses as well.

Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)

For users of Zoho Inventory’s Global edition, a new feature has been added that allows you to activate TDS for both your customers and vendors. With this feature, you can apply the appropriate TDS rates to any transactions created for them.

To enable this option:
Go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Settings and check Enable TDS.

Override tax amount in sales transactions

Each time you generate a sales transaction in Zoho Inventory, you have the option to manually adjust the tax amount based on the pre-configured tax rates. This enables you to override the calculated tax amount and ensure accuracy in your financial records.

To enable this option:
Go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Settings and enable the option under Tax Amount Override in Transactions.

Import purchase receives

Zoho Inventory has added a new feature that allows you to easily import all your purchase receives in CSV, TSV, or XLS format from the Purchase Receives module. To initiate the import process, simply navigate to the Purchase Receives module on the left sidebar, click the menu icon located in the top-right corner, and select the “Import Purchase Receives” option.
