I'm the director of the business and have been in the IT industry for almost 20 years. Working from base IT support to architecting complex systems, integrating CRMs and more. I love most sports, gaming, pizza and most of all spending time with my partner and three children.
Having spent much of my life with a deep interest in technology, I completed a degree in computing in 2019 and began working as software developer at Goldstar. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, eating good food and of course gaming!
Having always worked in a financial role, I qualified with the AAT in 2011 and now specialise in migrating company accounts from one software to another. I enjoy family time with my partner, baby daughter and two step children and love cooking.
I’m a lifelong learner, an advocate for pushing personal boundaries and pursuing new experiences. The constantly evolving nature of technology fascinates me, and I'm passionate about everything associated with it. In my spare time I like to work on side projects, anything from developing new apps, playing with a Raspberry Pi or fixing up my car. I enjoy football, snowboarding and travelling to new places.
As a Marketing Manager, I love the challenge of solving problems and puzzles. My work is founded on building open, trusted, relationships to deliver effective, team-driven results. Away from the office I‘m still focused on creative problem solving and teamwork, I have to be as I’m a Bassist in a blues rock band and enjoy being a Dad to a very energetic, inquisitive daughter!
I'm an ambitious & enthusiastic developer, if I don't know how something works my solution is always to strip it down to work out how it works and then put it back together even stronger than it was before. In my spare time I enjoy taking on ambitious and sometimes slightly wild adventures! I have recently completed a bungee jump and a mountain climb, and I've completed multiple cycling challenges.
Although I love problem solving and learning about new technology and development, an ideal Saturday away from work would start with a long walk by the beach in the sunshine ending up at my favourite coffee shop for a pot of tea and an hour or two with my latest thriller novel and a brownie. Followed by an afternoon catching up on Netflix box sets before ordering in (as I can't cook!) pizza with friends or Ghormeh Sabzi with family!
