Our Director Paul Goldsmith started the business after deciding to stop commuting so much and spend more time with his young family. There was a real feeling of excitement of creating a business that helps businesses achieve amazing results through technology.

We have always had a belief that technology only works when it works for the people who use it. That is why we begin every project by getting to know your goals, your challenges and how your teams work day to day, recommending the right applications from the Zoho applications to work around the real way your business operates, so you get a solution that feels intuitive, removes friction and supports the growth you are aiming for.

Our friendly and experienced team use the same Zoho applications we implement for our clients, meaning not only have we implemented 100s of projects but also everything we design is grounded in real, practical experience.

Paul Goldsmith

I’m the director of the business and have been in the IT industry for almost 20 years. Working from base IT support to architecting complex systems, integrating CRMs and more. I love most sports, gaming, pizza and most of all spending time with my partner and three children.

Vicki Goldsmith

Having always worked in a financial role, I qualified with the AAT in 2011 and now specialise in migrating company accounts from one software to another. I enjoy family time with my husband, baby daughter and two step children and love cooking.

David McMurdo

I’m an ambitious & enthusiastic developer, if I don’t know how something works my solution is always to strip it down to work out how it works and then put it back together even stronger than it was before. In my spare time I enjoy taking on ambitious and sometimes slightly wild adventures! I have recently completed a bungee jump and a mountain climb, and I’ve completed multiple cycling challenges.

John Kakkasseri

I’ve been involved with technology as a profession for over a decade, but it’s woven through my entire life. I’m a gadget geek, always chasing the latest tech buzz. When I’m not weaving magic with code, I’m on a quest for the perfect travel snapshot. I love exploring new places and capturing memories through my lens. Life’s a journey, and I’m here to make it a bit more tech-savvy and a lot more adventurous!

Owen Jeal

I’ve journeyed from the shores of marine conservation to the world of technology. As a former animal rescuer with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue, I’ve always been passionate about problem-solving, whether it’s saving marine life or developing solutions in tech. Outside of work, I’m an avid dog walker, an active member Section 5 Drummers Hastings which take part in many events around East Sussex. Whether it’s coding or celebrating the quirky traditions of my community, I approach everything with enthusiasm and a bit of adventure.

Hamza Muhammad

I’m a problem solver at heart, always ready to take on challenges—whether it’s streamlining business processes as a Zoho Developer or finding the perfect cricket strategy on the field. With a knack for turning complex issues into streamlined solutions, I thrive in environments where innovation and efficiency are key. Outside of work, I’m all about family time and enjoying life’s simple pleasures with my wife or catching a game of cricket. Life is all about balance, and I’m committed to making the most of every moment.

Where to start – Zoho is a beast of a system, and if you don’t know what you are doing you will not have a clue.

We were like that for several years. Building ropey processes on top of ropier processes. It was our complete lack of efficiency that made us reach out to Goldstar. From the 1st meeting we knew we had found the right company for us. I won’t sit here and BS that everything is always sunshine and rainbows. As a supplier and a client to many businesses myself, there are always frustrations on both sides (I suspect more from Paul and the team due to my demands haha). But it is how those frustrations are dealt with that shows you a company’s true colours and character, and Goldstar shine through every single time.

Every time I have an issue, the team are on hand to resolve it. Every time I need tweaks or new processes to complete, the team are there. What I like is that we exchange Zoom Clips and Loom videos with each other explaining what I want to happen, and them explaining either how I can do it, or engage them to do it, thus trying to educate me so I’m not so reliant on them (massive plus and makes the trust grow further).

Goldstar IT created a bespoke management dashboard for us in Analytics, pulling in data from Zoho CRM, Books and Projects. It works extremely well and Goldstar IT did a brilliant job at all stages – from working with our data, advising us on changes to our CRM to improve the quality of the dashboard data, designing and building a brilliant tool. They have since supported us with custom reporting.

I highly recommend Goldstar IT – they know Zoho inside out and are a great team to work with.
