To enable the Transaction Posting Date for your bills, go to Settings > Purchases > Bills. In the Field Customisation tab, click the dropdown next to the Transaction Posting Date field and select Mark as Active.


Estimates to Quotes Migration

Introducing “Estimates to Quotes Migration”: Zoho Books now offers the capability to migrate from “Estimates” to “Quotes,” aligning more closely with the module’s core function of providing fixed pricing for items and generating legally binding documents. This update involves a straightforward renaming from “Estimates” to “Quotes,” with all existing functionalities related to creating, sending, and managing estimates remaining unchanged.

To create a new record for a custom module, click the Quick Create icon on the top band. In the Custom Modules group, click the Add icon next to the custom module you want to create a record for. This will redirect you to the respective creation page where you can enter and save the details of the new record.


Overwrite Imported Data Based on Custom Fields

Introducing “Overwrite Imported Data Based on Custom Fields”: Zoho Books now offers the capability to overwrite imported file details based on custom fields associated with the respective module. This functionality applies when importing items, customers, vendors, or custom modules.
