To pin columns, go to any module, click the Customise Columns icon, hover over the fields, click the Pin icon and then click Save.
Enhanced Security with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Customer & Vendor Portals
We’re taking security to the next level with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Customer and Vendor Portals in Zoho Books. By requiring a Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) alongside login credentials, MFA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access.
How It Works:
🔹 Admin Control – Enable MFA in Customer Portal settings.
🔹 User Setup – Customers and vendors configure MFA using an authenticator app.
🔹 Secure Login – Users enter a TOTP code each time they log in.
🔹 Recovery Option – Admins can reset MFA if users lose access to their authenticator app.
⚠️ Important Note: If a user enables MFA, they will still need to enter a TOTP even if the feature is later disabled.

To enable multi-factor authentication for your customers and vendors, go to Settings > Preferences > Customer Portal. Check the Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) option.
Other Feature Enhancements
- Zoho Books now supports Total Cost and Profit columns in the Product Sales Report. You can customise an existing report to include these additional columns.
- While exporting reports, you now have the option to Enter export file name, Display column headers in each page of the PDF and to Display report data in separate pages based on the Group By field.
