September Zoho updates you need to know about
There are some great updates here this month, I know we’ve not mentioned AI in any of them… why is that? Well…. The updates around AI deserve their own blogs for each product and the “newish” products of Agents, MCP and more.
For now these are the updates that I felt makes a difference for your day to day and have been hand picked “not using AI” and giving you a reason why we think they matter.
Want to offer your customers options rather than lots of separate estimates?
Zoho FSM Multi Option Estimates are here!
You can present up to five options in a single estimate, each with its own services, parts and price. Customers compare them side by side and accept their preferred choice directly from the email. Technicians can also build these on site using the mobile app, so there’s no need to wait until they’re back at a desk.
Why it matters: Quicker decisions for your customers, less back and forth chasing approvals, and a natural way to showcase your premium services rather than presenting one take it or leave it price.
What we think: This is the kind of update that pays for itself quietly. Most service businesses lose momentum in the gap between sending an estimate and getting a yes; giving customers options to compare removes a chunk of that friction without you having to chase anyone.

Making changes to important reports are now easier and less risky
Zoho Analytics has launched Deployment Manager.
Deployment Manager creates a structured release pipeline for business intelligence and data analytics content. Teams can connect separate analytical workspaces as multi stage pipelines, such as Development, Testing, and Production, so new dashboards are built and validated safely in an earlier stage before being pushed live.
Why it matters: No more risking live reporting disruptions by editing active dashboards directly. Developers get a safe space to get things right first, so the numbers your team checks every morning stay dependable.
What we think: This one is aimed more at larger teams running multiple dashboards than a single owner checking figures once a week, but it closes a real gap. Editing live reports has always been the nervous part of analytics work, and a proper staging step is overdue.

Choosing the right accounting software shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith
Zoho Books is now ICAEW accredited.
Zoho Books, an end to end accounting solution trusted by thousands of businesses and finance professionals worldwide, is now officially accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), following on from its earlier accreditation from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. The assessment covered core accounting functionality, data management, security, cloud hosting, and usability.
Why it matters: If you’re already on Zoho Books, it’s confirmation your financial data is being handled to a standard the profession itself recognises. If you’re weighing up accounting platforms, it’s one less thing to take on trust.
What we think: We’ve recommended Zoho Books to clients for exactly the reasons this accreditation now confirms officially; solid compliance, straightforward reconciliation, and an interface that doesn’t need an accounting background to use well. Good to see it recognised by the profession, not just by us.
Want an Inventory dashboard that matches what you want to see in your business?
Zoho Inventory, much awaited additions.
You can now build your own dashboards within Zoho Inventory itself, choosing the widgets and metrics that matter to your business rather than relying on a single fixed default view. This gives you the flexibility to set up a dashboard around your own priorities, whether that’s stock levels, sales performance, or order fulfilment.
Why it matters: No more working around a one size fits all view; you can surface the numbers your business actually needs to see, front and centre.
What we think: Long awaited by users who’ve been stuck with fixed, one size fits all reporting; good to see it land.
